You have got to be kidding me!

I posted a simple blog about an old truck that I had and sold... and 6 people left comments that didn't have anything to do with my blog.

For anyone thinking about posting stupid comments in an effort to get your site more exposure... I will DELETE them so please don't waste our time.

For the record... my time is very valuable and as such I charge a $500 per hour fee (w/1 hour minimum) for deleting comments. In other words: If you post a comment that is NOT relevant to my blog I will delete your comment and send you a bill accordingly.

By posting a comment in any of my blogs, you hereby agree to pay said fees.

What Google giveth... Google taketh!

What happened??? From a PR of 6 to a PR of 4 in one day. I made no changes to the page. D@mn!

Wow. I couldn't believe my eyes. I had to check it 3 times. My Off Road Store now has a Google page rank of 6 out of 10. Very cool.

Ok... I spend all day double checking spelling and grammar...

Ok... I spend all day double checking spelling and grammar at my day job. So, from now on: I'm not checking my spelling and grammar in my blogs. Well actually I haven't up to this point, but I figured I would post this so as to give me an excuse for future missssspellings and improper grammar usage. ;)

Dude! Where is my BLOG?

Ok. I'm trying really hard to get into this BLOG craze but I seem to have lost my blog... along with my mind. Anyone seen either?

Alexa.com - WAKE UP!!!

Alexa.com has this posting on their front page about how great the Alexa toolbar is... yet it has a few bugs and inaccuracies that need some attention ASAP.

For example, I get these errors every time I try to use the Alexa toolbar:

"Allow sub-frames to navigate across different domains?"

"Stack overflow at line: 0"

Also: The Alexa data used to have an accurate measurement and representation of my inbound links to my site: http://www.4WheelingPlus.com - Now I have no idea where they are getting their data as it is not even close. Alexa.com used to report my inbound link count at over 200. I have that many plus MORE. Now they are reporting only 20 other sites that link to my site. Google lists 58 currently. That's still not accurate but it's a lot more than 20. Funny thing is... the 20 that Alexa counts is not counted by Google and vice-versa.

What happened to my reviews? There was more site reviews a few months ago. Why are they disappearing?

I'm confused as to how my rankings, in bound links and reviews are all going backwards?

One good thing is that Alexa.com ranks my site as the most popular 4X4 site: Top > Recreation > Autos > Enthusiasts > 4x4

Then there is the whole Make Your Own toolbar... I've tried and tried and it still will not work. I'm no idiot. I know how to configure it... it's something wrong with the backend that makes it so my own toolbar will not work.

Ok. The first couple of blogs were easy but it took me a while to figure out how to do another one.

I had to use the Blog button on the Google toolbar. Ironic that I am trying to post a blog about the Alexa toolbar but I had to use the Google toolbar to get here.
